No one is saying the case has “fallen apart.” Like almost every case I’ve ever seen, it just isn’t as simple as it seemed at first.

How did she get her destination address wrong 3 times if she is coherent? That's a pretty simple question that will be very hard to answer alone.
meh. It's possible. I think (not certain) she was trying to get to a friend's house. I didn't know my friend's addresses in college. She could have been getting the addresses and/or directions wrong. If she was trying to find a specific house in those newer subdivisions, that is a challenge b/c those houses all look similar in the cookie-cutter neighborhoods like Pelican Lakes.

There is the possibility that she was aware enough of what just happened to her and she didn't want them to know where she lived or where she was going. She just wanted out of the car.
Yeah. I thought about that. Jeez.
That’s where this “car video” is going to be important.

This is the most likely and reasonable scenario, based on what we know as of 11:26 am (CST) on January 30, 2023

The BAC, statements, videos of her stumbling, etc. become much less important compared to her contemporaneous actions around the sex acts.
And mostly, her sexual injuries.

Exactly.
Again, there is an acceptable narrative (Which borders on forced rape and tossing her aside on the street as a car was coming down the road) and anything outside of that is seen as defending rape. It's absurd. Those people are just too emotional about this to have a rational discussion. They have been wish casting for this horrible even to be even worse since the arrests.

She was there for just a month during the summer. Really good chance in a bar with that much turnover that no one knew her that well.
If you are in a frat/sorority there is a good chance you know someone or multiple people that work at just about every bar in Tigerland, especially if you are a regular there and use to work there. I think it's much more likely that she knew people working there rather than not. Not that this really matters I was just saying that if I was ever alone in the parking lot in Tigerland without my phone that I probably left in the bar, I'm going back into the bar, even if I don't know anyone that works there, instead of leaving with 4 guys that I don't really know. I think it's more likely that she didn't even know her phone was missing.

Based on what we know today, this comes off as wishcasting trying to make a horrible situation worse than it already is.
Most of this thread is the same damn thing.
Any thread that goes over a few pages ends up in fantasy land, just like this one.

Understandably. There is no possible narrative here that is good.
I don’t expect a lot of rational discussion here. But honestly? It’s been better than I thought it would. There have been some takes and information here that are useful.

Right....we gonna see these dudes on Confession Tapes in about 20 years and these same MFers in here are going to be like "The good ole boys got railroaded!"

quote:Only Angel seems to think this. SFP and others like myself have speculated that her demeanor on the videos in the car is crucial for a jury especially one in BR. But the case has not fallen apart at all. It’s just more nuanced than the absolute worst case scenario that people first imagined when they saw a picture of her and a picture of them.

The Bro Bunch has an affinity for bros who are charged with doing nefarious things to young women.
They are easily pursuaded by short video clips.

It's really tough to truly delete stuff, especially with so much automatic cloud backup.
This is true. When it comes to personal privacy, people need to think of cloud storage fees as fees to access your backed up material vs. fees to add your data to a cloud server. Your provider pretty much has all of your stuff on record.

Holy shite, what’s it like to think this way about yourself??
‘Oh, well SFP and I say it, so it must be gospel’
I’m not even saying you’re wrong, but holy shite. You’re the same way in the baseball threads. You think so highly of yourself
Are you an attorney like SFP?

It’s just more nuanced
That's what you want to call rampant, unverified information, knock yourself out.

There's not really much to discuss in this thread. Hasn't been for days.

Well. This gets interesting.
So Haley will demand separate trials and subpoena the juvenile, arguing he can’t claim the Fifth in a case in which he is not on trial.
The juvenile will testify she asked for sex and taunted him. Haley then argues clear consent.
Where did you go to law school?
