Just watched it. All Nakamoto says is she wasn’t held against her will and that the attorney says she called him gay, ie, they made up a story to discredit Carver’s statement. There’s no statement that this alleged slap is on video

I’m going to let the police and DAs handle this, I’m not going to disparage a dead young lady.

Same. It nullifies Casen's statement about her wanting to call an uber.

Depends on where the phone was.

I have no idea if this has been answered, but where was the phone?

Left at the bar?
Taken by one of the rapists?

The video Nak described contradicts the defendants’ own statements about her level of drunkenness. If the video was even remotely exonerating & showed her coherent, they never should’ve given statements without a lawyer. They were the ones saying she was “DRUNK drunk.”

The BAC suddenly becomes way more important.

My take as well. this video was the first i had seen someone validating the scumbag lawyers claims. Just thought it was an interesting video since we all know nakamoto.

You sound like you’ve had sex with Casen the way you are advocating for these rapists. (Serial rapist in case of the clown with the yellow hair)

The story opens that it is a racial matter and the defendants' are being 'scapegoated.' ! Doesn't seem to matter one of the defendants is white but okay...

-She worked at Reggie's. They didn't know who she was or how old she was? They'd keep a copy of her license at the bar if she's serving alcohol.

-Heavy drinking by all. Knew that was coming.

-.319 = "...extremely high, almost a lethal weapon."

Nak said "THEY FILED A LOT OF VIDEOS BACK THERE."

(Back to my belief they have video of the rape itself.)

-battle of the experts

Nak saw the videos from the defense lawyers, "..did not look like she was under any duress." "She asked to get out." They went to three addresses she gave them.

This is Houston news. Where does Nak work now? Strange local news isn't covering it.

That would require going on a campus (presumably littered with cameras). Dark, unlit Burbank was the safe bet for the perps.

None of that means she was in a legal capacity to consent to sex. You seem to think it does.

Defense lawyers will say - based on the video of her - there's no probable cause to bring the charges.

Judge Meyers already said in the bond hearing she was slurring her words and based on the BAC there was a basis for the charges. So there's a battle there.

The 17 y.o. asked her five times. Why? Because he knew she was drunk and wanted it clear to the other witnesses she 'consented.'

According to Nakamoto they took her to three different addresses that she gave them. He’s seen some of the videos from the defense.

Nak isn't putting it out locally because he knows it'd be viewed as victim blaming and take a lot of heat. So don't tell the folks in BR about it.

I think she only worked there a month last summer. According to Reggie’s, she was terminated for an altercation with another female employee. I read that a few days ago.

Might be some concern of BR being a powder keg right now with the Memphis thing still going on, Allie Rice, and now this case. Not to mention the overall sad state of affairs with BRPD right now.

Yes, which is also why they couldn't bring her to a gas station, hospital, or other well-lit location.

She gave them three wrong addresses, according to the Nak report.

She didn't have a phone.

But she was going to get an Uber? Huh? How? And to go where? They were driving her around.

Did they wait to make sure she safely was picked up by a taxi or Uber? No, they just left a severely drunk girl at 3 a.m. because they were done with her.

Nak also mentioned "personal responsibility, it an adult who can vote..." All things the defense lawyers will hit.

Defense lawyers mentioned their clients were drunk as well. ("They were at a bar for hours" in the press conference.) We've seen people here confused, "Well if the guy is drunk as well... not rape?" So that'll be another part of the defense.

Casen would be the one most likely to cooperate and given he (if the video shows it) refused sex and stopped Washington mid- sex but... he's the one white person there. So DA won't want to deal with him and be blamed of being racist, regardless of his actions that night..

Justice is supposed to be blind but even if they assigned a black prosecutor to the case he still doesn’t have a chance of getting a deal.

IF it is undisputed that she called him gay and possibly slapped him for not having sex with her, I don't see a jury convicting him without extreme bias. Given the likely makeup of a Baton Rouge jury and the issues that presents, a full 12 people biased against him is not likely.

But that's a gamble he would have to take and if he's wrong he'd likely do some DOC time (although the mitigation would be strong for him specifically)
