I agree, if true. The defense attorneys have already stated, publicly, that she asked to be let out of the vehicle because she was going to get an Uber. I think it would speak to her state of mind if she didn’t even have a phone at that point.

It’s also really fricking sad (again, if true) imagining the poor girl hammered on the side of Burbank, with no phone, just before being hit by a vehicle and losing her life.

Plus, this would mean she spent an ENTIRE HOUR with them without realizing she didn't have her phone before she supposedly asks to get out and call an uber???

Not way in hell is that explainable.

The lawyers in the presss conference indicated the perps had been drinking as well, "They were in a bar!" So they'll say that went into their lack of judgment.

Reggie's saying Madison used a fake ID when they knew her and she worked there. They did nothing to stop her from drinking, drinking once drunk, and just dumped out the drunk patrons as 2 a.m. neared.

If Madison forgot her phone, another sign of her lack of capacity. But also shows her lack of options that led to her death. She was wandering around severely intoxicated. She was at risk of yet another stranger taking advantage of her. It was beginning to rain.

She didn't summon the Uber driver, she was out on Burbank trying to flag down a car in traffic to help her.

The four that left her there saw few options: they couldn't go to police. Madison was too drunk to know where she lived. They'd driven around looking for a friend's house with no luck.

They didn't want to take her to a hospital as she was a walking rape kit and it'd expose their crimes. They didn't want to leave her in a well-lit place like a gas station as they'd have video and questions would be asked. She was too drunk to give them a phone number of a friend to call. Uber/Lyft require a phone and she didn't have hers. They didn't want to reveal who they were by using their own smartphones.

So they argued with her and each other about what to do. Then just let her out.

It speaks to her utter lack of capacity and also her perception that it'd be less dangerous to just get out of that vehicle where she'd been raped than stay there with the four.

The driver that struck her was just a random car she was trying to flag down for help as it began to rain.
