That means that she stopped drinking an hour before she left… so her BAC levels were likely not “rising” still during her ride home. She didn’t take 5 shots then hop in the car.

You’re exactly right. The language used there looks absolutely horrible.

That's a good point.

More time from the bar - unless the perps gave her booze in the car = lower BAC from when the rape took place.

Did she have a license with her address?

Did she have a phone so she could call... anyone?

Defendants just kept demanding she tell them where she lived and she was too drunk to do so.

The WAFB footage was 1:50. She was raped 2 miles away not long after that. She was dead by 3 a.m.

The end of that video is crazy. Wish it would go on a bit more to see how she got to the car

Very strange video. Definitely not what I pictured in my head

Yeah, I had this image in my head of her being carried to the car by the 17-year-old all the way from Reggie's. Certainly, I did not think that she was running after them.

If the time line as stated on that page is true, and she didn’t drink the last hour that she was at Reggies, and when they found her it was an hour after she had left with the alleged rapists, I hate to think what her BAC was when she stopped drinking. We’re talking two hours later.

I don't know anything about this case.

I know alcohol fairly well.

Unless amphetamines are in play, you aren't running at a .3 BAC

Hell, even in my prime the highest I ever blew on a breathalyzer was in the high .2s

Most non daily drinkers are unconscious over .2

This is a very important point:

1. They gave her more booze on the car = they contributed to her condition and eventual death.

2. They did NOT give her more booze in the car. If that's the case and she went an hour not drinking prior to getting in the car, her BAC at the time of the rape was likely far higher than .319. Her BAC would be decreasing over time from 1:50 to time her death (.319).

There are BAC charts - body, weight, BAC where an expert could calculate exactly how impaired she was at the time of the rape and at the time she was dropped off.

Well her BAC several hours later at the hospital was over .3, at 1:50 the video shows her running across the street in boots and safely negotiates a curb towards the suspects , then possibly collapsing , just not what I had in my mind this whole time

It’s also possible that Reggie’s is simply not accurate (or even lying)

She runs pretty well for having a BAC of .319, definitely surprised me. Maybe the adrenaline wore off when she stopped it's why she basically collapsed. What about the chick that walks up on the scene as soon as the video is ending? Hopefully she can shed some light. I'd say this video (at least the running towards them part) helps the defense. But at the same time the ending where she is basically dead weight does not. What an interesting video.

Looking at the details the Carver kid provided in his statement, it seems like he would’ve mentioned this.

That car was stopped. She was running to catch up to them. After that it looks like she drops and then they start carrying her.

Like someone else said, this is not how I pictured the leaving Reggie’s event at all.

Getting close to poisoning at that level. It's amazing she was even upright at all.

I agree with you on this. The BAC is a huge factor as to why she could have not possibly given consent. But I can’t imagine anyone even walking much at all with the level she had

Not really that easy. You could shotgun a red bull and 8oz of 190. If i test you a half hour in you'll be near legally drunk. But an hour and 15 in you're going to be BAD off.

In general, is that a clue that a person is a regular drink of large amounts and just handles it better?

But she appears to be a tiny thing .. I’d have expected to see someone passed out cold at the bac.
