As I said Carver is the one most likely to 'flip.'
Can you imaging the heat from his entire family?
He'll come forward next week with his lawyer to attempt to fully cooperate hoping for a lighter sentence.
Yes, would have seem odd the question wasn't asked and the response included or not in the warrant as it's a pretty key question.
It looks like at .350 BAC a person basically has no clue where they are. Not only no consent but leaving a person in that condition anywhere near a roadway? After raping them? At least, negligent homicide charges.

Like someone else said, this is not how I pictured the leaving Reggie’s event at all.
At this point the video shows, the men were leaving without her going on to their car...then she runs out of nowhere trying to catch up with them, a little tipsy, she gets their help.....from that point, we still don't know much

Yep and to basically jump a curb also while running is not what I pictured .319 to look like.

Maybe she was extremely drunk all night, “sobered up” with a couple waters and a Red Bull for the last hour (she’s still fricked up at this point), leaves, couple swigs from a bottle in the car, …

Carver or Washington’s statement said she was walking/stumbling and trying to open random car doors.
Not sure where some are getting the idea that she was carried out over their shoulders.
Whether she could walk or run has no bearing on the fact that she still could not legally consent to sex. These animals knew she was messed up and raped her

The end of that video is crazy. Wish it would go on a bit more to see how she got to the car
The beginning and ending of that video are very contradicting. The kind of shite that makes juries struggle.

He should have considered that when he stopped his car at the random location. He needs to go to prison.

In general, is that a clue that a person is a regular drink of large amounts and just handles it better? But she appears to be a tiny thing .. I’d have expected to see someone passed out cold at the bac.
Being a heavy or binge drinker won’t affect BAC but it certainly increases tolerance.

Honestly it looks like a normal, decent family just based on the pictures. They're also allegedly God fearing. I'd think he likely will be under some heat.
Sort of feel bad for his family as well. His actions will haunt all of them forever.

Not only are his parents telling him to cooperate he's got his siblings in an an international newspaper with 43 million readers a day.
He'll either kill himself or flip next week and cooperate fully to avoid jail. He knows he wouldn't last there.
The Uncle won't flip as that's family. The other two were the rapists.
So who is the weak link here?

Because a lot of people were saying they saw her alone outside, targeted a vulnerable drunk girl and kidnapped her bc no way she would leave with them.
Like a previous poster said… the truth was likely in the middle.

Until the liver starts to go... Yep.
.3 is just so damned high. If I drink an entire bottle of OGD 114 in a few hours I still couldn't blow that high.

Just because people are wondering how she walked so well with that BAC and the statement that she had to be helped doesn’t mean we think she was able to consent. It doesn’t bother me that she ran toward them. She may have thought they were a safe ride home. As others have said the video is confusing but it doesn’t change the fact that I think she was unable to consent and was raped.

The BAC is definitely a head scratcher

If the races were reversed, it would be an entirely different story. If a 17-year-old white kid and an 18-year-old white kid rapes a drunk black girl in the back of the car, while a 27 year old white uncle in the front passenger seat observes, and an 18-year-old black kid is the driver, the DA would offer the black kid probation for his testimony. This would especially be true if the DA thought the black kid was remorseful.
However, in our current society and with the NAACP and all of these national mainstream media outlets watching, there is absolutely no way the DA is ever going to do that for a white kid while prosecuting three blacks for first degree rape of a white woman.
It's like we’re living in the 1950s and 1960s Mississippi in reverse.

It has been talked about in this thread that there is a segment of society that will be harder to get them to convict……this video doesn’t help IMO
Yes they took advantage of her.

ETA…. actually I turned 21 in 1994, not 95, so I think everyone in c/o 91 regardless of bday month wasn’t affected by the age change
This is correct. I was 20 in August of 95 when the law was changed. My 21st Bday was in Nov. So I had to wait 3 months to legally drink again.

Any math experts here?
I think given the info out you could calculate:
1. approximately how much alcohol Madison consumed to be that drunk;
2. how drunk she was at the time the rapes took place.
There's a formula.
IF she was given no alcohol in the car, could run these numbers.
LINK
But I can't math, so I won't try to math.
I did read though today that LSU regards itself as an elite university with tuition over $50,000. Which was news to me...

That is about 15 drinks - not sure what a standard drink is though
