You sure this is accurate? Everything else I've read indicated it failed at the poll.
Edit: NVM. Apparently alot of uncounted votes got counted since yesterday.

I'd love to see it legalized now. Like being able to buy it in a store along with MJ.

Dude, I give my dog a few drops of CBD oil with his breakfast and it has reduced his seizures from once a month to four times a year. Anyone who is still up in arms about keeping CBD/MJ criminalized is a total and complete frick-head

I’m old now so there’s zero chance I’d want to get electric just hanging at home but for a concert or a night in the woods under the stars, hell yes
medicinally, there is ample evidence that psychedelics can help with brain dysfunction as well. The problem is that research is stifled because they are all still schedule I

This is just another thing that doing it the right way and not taking too much is harmless.
Microdosing on caps is awesome.

Yep. Our country's drug laws are so antiquated and based on a puritan "Government knows what's best for you" mindset.

Meanwhile, Alabama
alabama senate voted to legalize medical marijuana
quote:
The Alabama Senate approved a bill to legalize medical marijuana on Thursday. In a 17 to 6 vote, the chamber cleared the legislation, which would allow patients 19 and older with certain conditions to obtain a medical cannabis card that would allow them to use, possess and purchase marijuana from licensed dispensaries. It would also establish an Alabama Medical Cannabis Commission to oversee the program. Patients would have to have tried traditional treatment options and also be subject to random drug testing. The conditions that would qualify patients for the program under the legislation include cancer, autism, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression and all terminal conditions.
quote:
“There is a time I never would have carried this bill a year ago, two years ago,” Sen. Tim Melson (R), the bill’s sponsor, said during the floor debate on Wednesday. “I finally looked up the facts instead of stereotyping what medical cannabis is.”
so there's that

No

I hope they asterisk it.
Make it to where you can not drive while on them. Having people on that shite on the road is not even remotely safe. As long as that is in place it's cool with me.

Well gee thanks mr. politician for looking up scientific facts as opposed to stereotypes from the 1920s.

Perhaps the solution is allowing all legislators from Holy Roller Districts to have twenty year terms so that they can use their common fing sense when voting to legalize pot (and mushrooms!) without worrying about their stupid constituents voting against them because they don't like drugs and gambling.

It's about time.
I've been waiting for this push.
Way more excited about this than weed.
