I truly wish Mind Hunter could have finished the story on Netflix. The story of serial killers and them developing criminology on them while one of the most notorious ones ever (who didn’t fit most of their profiling) was hunting daily. Great show
I was just coming to post this. However, I feel like the show really lost some quality whenever they focused on Tench's adoptive son. That subplot was weak. That being said, I really liked how they were building up to BTK with the cuts to Rader and his life in Kansas at the beginning and end of certain episodes.

I will never forget him being in court having to recall his crimes before sentencing. The way he went about describing his actions so nonchalantly in the killings of his victims was bone chilling.
The man has no soul, no empathy, no sense of shame or remorse for what he's done except getting caught and exposed for the POS he truly is.
But this is pretty much true for all sociopaths that turn to extreme violence. How one goes through life without a conscience is beyond me.

Meanwhile, at 78 he’s still producing CO2 at a time where so many are concerned about greenhouse gases.

I doubt this he proudly admitted to his work when arrested

The case is referred to by Rader in his journals as “PJ Bad Wash Day.”

It may be obvious and I'm an idiot for not getting it, but what does the "PJ" mean in his writings?
Lots of weird Peej references. Just glad they got the gu…..

People who are actually serious about climate change would demand he be executed

At some point, people need to come to the realization that spiritual warfare is very much real. People like this are consumed by demonic forces. We think of possession as crazy, wild acting people we see in horror movies. It can show up manifested in all ways. There is evil in this world. Pure, spiritual evil that is from Satan. Psychological terms to define people like BTK are just a neat way of wrapping it up instead of facing the reality of what it really is. People either don't like thinking abt that or they don't believe it. But it is very much real.

Wow. Thanks for posting. That’s so predictable, isn’t it ? What he did to the Otero family is the worst thing I’ve ever heard.

After arresting Dennis Rader, police found photos where he dressed up like his victims

Investigators did that with the confession killer-Henry Lee Lucas. That dude confessed to over 600 murders and was rewarded with fast food and police car rides. What a clown!
A family friend was one of those investigators. After his session he told Lucas's handler, "this guy is a fraud and a lot of y'all are going to end up embarrassed by him."
Rader certainly could be responsible for these victims. Time will tell. His health has apparently deteriorated pretty badly since he's been in prison so there's some satisfaction in that.

he is definitely a "don't judge a book by its cover" kind of guy.
he is unassuming imo. reminds me of the dad on That 70's show.

I’m watching it now for the first time; it is such a great show. Just started the second season when they’re really getting into Rader.

people need to see how this a-hole gets caught. Just fricking being a grade a dip shite.
One of my high school friend’s dads was one of the technological investigators who helped break down the floppy disk information. Pretty interesting stuff, but Rader thought he was smarter than he was. Unreal that he got away with everything as long as he did.
