Did they update the track at 1pm? I thought that was only at 10 and 4.

No.

You're right, 10s and 4s for track.

I'm between Laffy and Youngsville and it's been raining pretty good for a couple hours now. One thing about tropical rain is that it looks like just a misty drizzle but it's not. The water pouring out of my downspouts tells the tale.

Assuming your yard doesn’t usually hold water like that? Any word on how drainage is doing?

Yard has low spots plus recent yard work with tractors. Not sure on drainage, but if I had to guess on past LC experience, every road north of 210 is under.

Is this thing even tropical anymore? There's no more western, eastern, and southern part of the core

Freshwater Canal surge is now 6 feet and it is low tide. The combined rising tide and increasing surge will continue to raise the overall water level for several more hours.

Where can someone follow info for gusts in a particular area? Curious about Abbeville/Perry.

Still tropical but it's getting opened up pretty quickly and that surface boundary layer is getting dry at this point I'd imagine. The transition is at least starting.

Main thing I’ve seen so far... 40 ish sustained - 50-60 gust. Main deal is all the rain. Water is building .... tons of rain

May be more of a flooding event than anything. Water is rising fast East of LC. Heading back in to town now
