Shear blowing the tops off the western side it appears. Looks like the west side is flattening while the East is growing a bit

What was that hurricane that just fell apart that time south of Lafayette?

Lili. Went from a cat 4 down to a 1 overnight. Still spawned a shitload of small tornadoes that scared the crap out of me. The Saint Streets area had downed trees everywhere.

Lili didn’t break up - she tore Lafayette up. In Youngsville, the metal posts and our wood fence were bent over flat against the ground and part of our neighbor’s chimney was in our back yard.

Something knocked Lili down a ton, was is upwelling from a previous storm that came thru, I can't remember? But it was coming in at 140+ and slowed down. You are correct though, it was the worst for Lafayette since I can remember.

Video from LCH of tarps coming off roofs. Seeing exposed wood on roofs makes my stomach turn.

May be more of a flooding event than anything. Water is rising fast East of LC. Heading back in to town now

I already had ducks living in a low spot I made in my yard while cleaning up.

If Delta goes dude north, the center it's roughly 4 hours from Cameron.

It's really weird how people here get mad when you say it's not going to be as bad as people think.

Yeah he's full of it. Last night at 6 he was calling 117 MPH gusts in Laffy and that we had never seen anything like that before. I was here for Lily and I KNOW we had bigger gusts than that. By the way if this rain doesn't slack off imma start getting a little worried. Ditches in my AO are filling up..

I was in Kaplan for Lili. Lafayette definitely did not have gusts of 117 MPH. Agree with you on the ditches though. My yard already has standing water from the steady rain. When we get those heavy squalls I’ll be puckered up.

How does that even happen? Who keeps chocolate exlax? Who keeps chocolate exlax where a dog can access it?

my girlfriend has this. Why? I do not know. I have asked her this no less than 30 times. It grosses me out

Her purse was on the couch so likely he dug through it. This dog possibly has major depression. A few months ago we were at a beach house where one of the couples had pot cookies they apparently didnt seal up properly and he ate one when we all went to sleep. He is 16 lbs. Woke up to him having what looked like seizures and rushed him to an emergency vet where they had to pump him with fluids. I don't know if I send him to counseling at this point

I remember it was supposed to hit Lake Charles dead on I think and shifted bigtime over night just before it hit, or did id just implode? LC barely got anything from it.
