I'm no weather expert, but as a coastal California resident, I can assure you that the water here is like 62 degrees at the warmest time of the year.

I spent all of my money donating to Joe Biden because that doctor (who was already a hardcore liberal before COVID-19) says Joe has a plan for COVID that will guarantee that no one dies from COVID.

shite, hurricane Patricia that hot Mexico had 215mph sustained winds at one time. Ended up hitting at like 150mph but still.

Couldn't imagine how much damage it did down there.

2 things I've learned so far:

1) I overestimate bigly on wind speeds. I'm sure I've told people we've had 30-35mph winds when in reality it was probably 15-20

2) These tarped homes don't stand a chance; they are already flapping like flags right now. No telling what my primary residence will look like tomorrow.

at least Postel on TWC was admitting that it wasn't a major any longer and doesn't know why NHC hasn't downgraded it at the 1000 update.

I can understand not downgrading at 10

Haha so many people do. That was slacksters point. Especially sustained winds. With certain hurricanes like Laura, it can be hard to measure cause the instruments get destroyed.

But in general he was right, not many have experienced true hurricane force winds.

I expect we will here in LC this time.

I checked my while ago and was good. I expect i will lose the one on the ridge in front though.
