Good steady, somewhat hard rain here in Abbeville. Well, technically Perry, south of Abbeville.

You should start some old PPV threads and do play-by-play. I'd join in on that. I just can't get into the modern day stuff.

Yeah looks like it has. I’m going to take a ride out to the marsh on the golf course and see how it looks

Agreed. Or just a fact about the state in general. Like when I learned Marsh Island was one of the biggest islands in CONUS the other night.

Hot off the HRRR press. Mighty aggressive and certainly east.

Not that mesoscale models are best predictors for hurricanes.

I like the headlines that read "Delta may be close to Cat 3 at landfall"
So.. it'll be a cat 2 at landfall. Media will do anything to use the most hyperbolic language/description. Any time you see words like "near" "close to" "almost" "mostly" you know it's just bull shite writing.
typical for the news media. (fakenews or be damned)

gotta hype up everything and anything. no longer do they report facts. news, weather and now even sports is hyped.

it's all hype all the time and if you pay close attention it's politicized.

everything revolves around money, power and greed.
