On the NHC site. Go to interactive cone/track.
Select for it to show track (centerline) and you can zoom in that way.
ETA: or any local South LA news station weather app

I like the headlines that read "Delta may be close to Cat 3 at landfall"
So.. it'll be a cat 2 at landfall. Media will do anything to use the most hyperbolic language/description. Any time you see words like "near" "close to" "almost" "mostly" you know it's just bullshite writing.

USAF plane just entered the storm... and as it came off the Texas coast it may have been able to see the NOAA plane that's already investigating it

Is anyone using the portable radar they brought in? Anyone care to post the link to it?

Northern eyewall will be at coastline around 4 to 5 PM.
The 7 PM position is when the center will be about 10 miles inland.

How hard would it be to put a time at landfall? Is there a reason that they don’t do that?
Could be dangerous as people may misinterpret what that means and think they had more time. Conditions degrade many hours before official landfall.

That's what gets me!
When it "hits landfall" half of it is already ashore.
