Good morning baws. Just want to say thank you to everyone for the updates and explanations. Figured I hop in and give updates from South LC as much as I can. Gusts are picking up with light showers throughout the morning. Currently feels like wind is coming from NNE. It's gotten significantly cooler from yesterday here. Stay safe everyone.

Who is this cat on the WC acting like he is from Lafayette, but still talks about counties?

When I talk about LA to people not from here I use counties so I don't have to explain parishes to them not everyone knows we are the only state the has parishes instead of counties

Good luck baw. Having a N win is going to be good for much of LC as we need a break from the south wind

You do realize all that is fictional? Apparently there are people who have nothing better to do than make up hypothetical hurricane scenarios

I started reading that and said thats a load of crap.

the 2 planes may have just flown side-by-side (not literally... but close enough) to an eye fix somewhere south of the LA/TX border

In south LC as well. May take a little Sunday drive around. Already tired of being inside!

Once the center of circulation gets north of your locale, the wind direction will shift back the other way, but the wind speed will most likely decrease significantly soon after that happens. That’s what I’m seeing on the hourly projections anyway.

I hope. HH just recorded it. They were circling back around to come through the western wall. This was reported live on TWC.

I know at my house in SLC, all of my neighborhoods damage was from a south wind. There’s not a shingle blown off on the north side of our houses
