Lmao... why are you making shite up? No one has remotely suggested that we could get 4-8” of rain.

I saw it yesterday on projection maps. We got nearly 5" over three days in my backyard from Laura/Marco. Not out of the realm of possibilities.

Isla Mujeres reporting on their FB page. Winds severe 3-8am, current conditions improving , people outside cleaning up. Damage minor per poster.

Just for comparison.....the “new center line” is barely in the first advisory cone. NHC has some serious work to do.

Dude. 6 days out? Am I the only one who thinks it's a miracle of modern science that we can predict when and where a storm will hit that is still over 1,000 miles away down to a 100 miles or so? That shite is incredible considering the factors involved.

NHC needs to rethink the "potential tropical cyclone" thing which is the first picture you linked. Trying to predict storms that have yet to form is extremely difficult with today's science. You have to assume they will be WAAY off.

Yet, people like you will say "but muh wishcasters"

My neighbor is in some sort of important position at the VP Police Jury -- he's sending the us updates (only 4 houses in the neighborhood) and I just want to tell him take me out of the text .. I like my td weather people.

similar thought I had

it's reached a general good idea of where landfall will happen now... the track will start to windshield wiper between say Lafayette & Morgan City

but again that's just my completely uneducated guess

I wish SE Texas, minus Houston, wasn’t such a shite hole. I also wish I wouldn’t have just built a house in LC, or I’d be a gone pecone
