4 Am update
Posted on 10/7/20 at 4:05 am to fishfighter
Looks like the 4am update shifted the track a hair to the west once it hits the gulf but it looks like it will lose more steam after crossing the Yucatan than previously expected. Still builds up over the warmer deep water in the gulf though

From what I’ve learned in these threads is that if you’re in NOLA, get ready for Katrina 2.0, if your from Houston, it’s gonna be worse than Harvey, and if you have a camp on Cypremort Point, you’re fricked

Basically shifted from East of New Iberia to west of New Iberia. Center of cone is around Delcambre to St Martinville to West of New Roads.

am I crazy or do both the HWRF and HMON show the worst of the wind getting stuck in the gulf during landfall?

No they won’t. They are going with Gfs just like they did with Laura
Euro sucks this season
Gfs-para who had been west with Euro is now east at vermillion bay

Yea it seems like most of the models are beginning to agree with each other on each update. Keeps bouncing between Lake Charles and Baton Rouge so if I was putting money on it Lafayette would be my pick unfortunately. I sure hope this is the last hurricane in the gulf this year.

The angle and amount of curve as it comes in is almost as important as where it hits. Makes a big difference for nola and the northshore.

Do you have link for this? The one I see is still west.

Angle and curve is very important for hitting the spot.

I’d also like to see this link. Last I saw the euro was locked in on the Tex/La border.

My bad it hits east of white lake on last run but still a good 50 mile shift from previous run

what does landfall at 92.9 and 92.2 mean anyways dude..I tried to Google and got nothing
The ratio of H:M is 7:2. So due northeast of southwest is the answer you are trying to extrapolate.
ETA: start freezing the titty milks
