I can’t wait to end that annual 7 hour training course. Although, I am a little sad because I used that time to binge a Netflix show

Yes, their job was DEI. We don’t need anyone doing their job well in that department. Lots of people that deserved jobs in other departments and didn’t get them because of his department….guess you forgot about them?

Yeah I don't think this kind of stuff goes away, it gets hidden under new names. I think it would be much harder to kill it than to seriously reform it. Instead of being "you get a free pass" it should be a real program that helps people that honestly and seriously have little educational opportunity yet show test scores or other measures of being promising, and/or have shown a work ethic.

Cancer doesnt just go away that easily.

You have to be vigilant, monitor regularly, and not be afraid to go scorched earth with chemo and radiation when necessary.

Ill be more optimistic at a 5 year follow-up if no more of the metastasis if found.

Yep. Our company dropped the D and the E. All they say publicly the last year or so is Inclusion.

my company has always practiced discrimination in hiring, they just never had a fancy term for it or were as flagrant about it as they have been in recent years

It's talking about people that exist to implement and enforce DEI initiatives. Not people who were placed into jobs largely because they are black or are women who like to sleep with women.

Anyone who is meeting or exceeding level expectations should not get fired from their job, assuming it's a job that is providing value to the taxpayer. (And I don't think this is suggesting that anyway.)
