Ngl I thought the numbers represented the expected temperature and I even got worried for a minute

-12 would be outrageous...

My biggest fear is they make us come to work and I have to go across the River to Port Allen and they close the bridge and I’m stuck there lol

10-11 inches of snow would effectively shut down Birmingham for a week.

You can’t be serious Clyde. That’s not referring to the actual temperature

I'm seeing a purple blob (0.5") in E.Central/SE Georgia around Swainsboro/Statesboro.

If that holds, that's no bueno.

Its supposed to start raining here Friday, and the gutters on the back of my house are still 5 inches thick with ice. The sun barely hits that area this time of year.

In Houston, it's scheduled to be below freezing until 2 in the afternoon. I would presume the bridge would already be closed for you, so you couldn't get there to begin with.

Is 1 to 3 inches of snow accumulation in Mandeville on Tuesday a legitimate projection?

Per weather.com:

Tuesday PM - Snow showers early with a chance of lingering snow showers later. Low near 30F. Winds NNE at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 40%. Snow accumulating 1 to 3 inches.

I hope it's snow and not just freezing rain/ice. That Feb 2021 storm was not fun in Baton Rouge.

I can't count the number of days in a weekend, but yeah any snow and ice on Tuesday would have stuff closed on Wednesday as well.

This chance of winter precip is looking more legit
