A lot can change and forecasting winter weather in the south is difficult.

You know how when a hurricane is supposed to be a high end two and it hits as a low end three people flip out and are furious why a major wasn't forecasted? Even though the difference in wind speed was 5mph off?

Imagine a meteorologist saying 5" of snow and we get 1.5" of freezing rain and only an inch of snow. Ppl would go insane.

1.5" of freezing rain is a once in a lifetime event. You think that is "likely" to happen?

I remember the ice storm of 1994 here and you don’t want that I promise
