Its like researching a stock to buy or not. One "expert" says the company has great prospects and on the verge of blowing up and another "expert" says its a dog. Repeat and repeat.

Not even worth worrying about what these "experts" predict.

In my 46 years of living in south Louisiana, I’ve seen it snow a handful of times. This is the only time it hasn’t rained the entire day before the snow.

This is the only time I remember snow without a assload of sleet before it.

Yeah I’m really hopeful we get it. Window looks like it is more narrow. But still, it’s narrowing into S LA which is basically in the gulf. I want a snow day more than my kids

The December of 2017 snow was pretty powdery the whole time from what I remember. Roads stayed safe to drive on for a while.

But the other one I remember from 2008 was more wet and sloppy. The bad kind.

I just got blasted by ice pellets off the garage roof from wind. Big nothing burger here. It didn't stick earlier. Now it's just sleet.

Mine came with the house it runs across a gap in the back of house, not a ton of support. We shall see how it goes

Radar looks weird for Northshore area. We had some thick cloud cover come in late afternoon, looks like maybe that kept the temps higher than expected.

The system looks like it’s breaking up over BR and not making here, so far, but there’s a whole hell of a lot coming.

The NOAA 6-10 day outlook maps printed last week were scary with their deep blues and purples over East Texas and most of Louisiana-- in fact most of the country east of the Rockies

It’s never shown to start before 5am and not really kickoff until a few hours later. It was never supposed to snow on the northshore Monday night.
