Please be careful with your heat lamp placement. My dad just texted me that their neighbor’s chicken barn caught on fire due to a heat lamp. Fire trucks are on site.

Saw a guy covering his outside faucet- he stacked bags of mulch underneath the faucet, to add additional protection for the pipes on the other side of the wall. Never heard of that

I don't think we're setting a record with this round of cold in north AL. 8° is the forecast low for tomorrow night. The record? Fricking -11° in 1985!

I called my daughter in Billings, MT to whine about the weather…

Mom, she says, it’s 15 degrees…we just got 6 inches of snow on top of the 8 inches from yesterday, I fell 4 times dusting off my windsheid, and windchill tonight is -35. I don’t want to hear it.
