There's gotta be meme with one of those Minions looking all tired and stressed captioned with something about needing coffee and pictures of she and her "bestie" dressed to the nines to go out to the local sports bar one night shortly after she and her husband split.

Why do people even look at facebook feeds anymore? Or if they do, why don't they unfollow people like this?

Because beach season is coming up and we wanna see them titties, duh

The OP nailed his summary of married attention whores - I’d like to extrapolate on that and add the ‘i always post slutty pictures’ girl:

1. Constantly posts selfies, which comes equipped with the cleavage as the highlight of the photo accompanied by some lame arse inspirational quote

2. Meets an oilfield baw and posts a photo or two of them.. lots of ‘YAYY congrats girl’ and ‘SO SO SO glad your (<- I did that on purpose) happy girl!!’ type comments

3. Holidays come around, usually a month or two later. The happy new couple takes photos in which the girl still insists on showing cleavage ‘our first XXXXXXX together yall’

A few weeks later:

4. ULTRASOUND PHOTO

7-9 months later (after weekly pregnancy updates)

5. Hundreds of photos of the child and stupid lame arse inspirational motherhood memes

A few months later:

6. No more photos of oilfield baw, and back to pictures of the cleavage with the child somewheres in the background (accompanied by the occasional meme of how tough the single mother life is)

** between steps four and five, sometimes they’ll post photos of them with other babies because they want everyone on social media to see that they will be fantastic mothers

7. Posts "In a relationship with" and it's some guy who wears white Oakleys and takes selfies in his truck.

8. Rinse and repeat.

To be fair, I think the white Oakley’s have run their course

I always love the seamless transition to pics with a new dude. It's like they just expect nobody to notice.

For real: how should this be handled? I didn’t make a formal announcement when I got divorced. Nor did I post cryptic statuses. I’m more of a once a month random photo type FB user, not inner monologue. I didn’t have my relationship status public to share, so nothing popping up there.

I figured posting a pic with a different guy would make it clear that I’m no longer with my ex.

One of my high school friends divorced from her HS sweetheart in the past year. They have a child together. She doesn't post much on fb either but did make a post thanking her family and friends for their support during a difficult time in her life. Her grandmother had also just died so she mentioned that and the divorce. Was very respectful to her ex, didn't trash him at all, and mentioned they are on good terms with one another and focused on being the best parents they can be to their daughter now.

Giveaway.

And if a dude is gushing about his wife, he’s either gay, running around on her, or both.
