Those posts are why I don’t have social media. (Outside of Twitter where you don’t see that lame shite)

One of my high school friends divorced from her HS sweetheart in the past year. They have a child together. She doesn't post much on fb either but did make a post thanking her family and friends for their support during a difficult time in her life. Her grandmother had also just died so she mentioned that and the divorce. Was very respectful to her ex, didn't trash him at all, and mentioned they are on good terms with one another and focused on being the best parents they can be to their daughter now.

That sounds good; I had something similar cross my newsfeed from a friend of mine. Thanking friends for support, not really trashing ex, focus on being friendly for the kids' sake.

Only problem was that in my friend's case, she got back together with the ex, then the cycle happened again starting at OP's #3: "constant gushing about hubby" and how he's the best, sweetest, most loving man EVER!

I'm happy for her that it worked out but still...

Well... from the looks of it (and I may be doing this wrong) 6 people are interested in going. Of those 6 I think we can rule out at least 2 maybe 3 from the list as not being 31. We need to play the game and find out which of these sloots is his friend.

You forgot the cryptic posts like:

These along with

“I rarely post my personal stuff here...”

“Unspoken prayer request”. No mother fricker. It’s facebook. Everybody here wants to know your business or they’d be elsewhere. You gotta give up the scoop.

I also have Debbie Downers in my feed. There must be a site called shitthatsucks.com
Because if a child dies, or a cop is hurt or killed, or a child gets molested, missing Mom or kid ANYWHERE in the Western World she is all over that shite and linking the fricking story. How many times do I need to see a baby who chewed an iPhone cord with electrical burns all over their face!!!?

We might be friends or at least definitely have mutual friends. I rarely post on facebook, but 99% of the time I do it is something meant to be humorous. Who the frick wants to be reminded of all the depressing crap going on?

I hate this line. "Unspoken prayer", does that mean you say it to yourself, not aloud? Between this line and the "in memory of" rear window stickers, I can't figure out which is the most attention whoring.

This thread reminds me of one of my favorite Facebook moments.

Hot (yet trashy) woman marries innocent, incredibly nice guy who has a solid white-collar job. He's the type who absolutely everyone loves, and will get taken advantage of many times in life because he is so trusting of everyone. She was incredibly hot, but was one of those women who you could bet on cheating because she just never seemed to have any moral compass.

So they have a couple of kids and about five years into their marriage, they get divorced out of nowhere. The guy kicked her to the curb after finding out that she had been fricking her personal trainer and a few other guys around the state. Dude is just heartbroken but keeps his emotions together for his kids.

She reappears on Facebook about three weeks after I had heard of their divorce and posts pics of some new oilfield baw, thanking her trashy girl friends for helping her get through the worst part of her life. All of her trashy bitch friends commented that they are so happy she is getting back on her feet and she's finally happy again and that she deserves to have someone who will stick by her.

Keep in mind, her husband was completely innocent, and she cheated on him with multiple guys, including the personal trainer he was paying for, yet she's the one who has been screwed here.

I was just mindblown, but it made me realize how fricking insane women are.
