Man who buys old books and bibles finds a letter from a soldier in WW1 in a bible he bought that describes a first hand account of the 1914 Christmas Day truce. Pretty cool

That’s actually legit cool. The whole Christmas Day truce thing has always amazed me.

I had always heard that they did have a football game, so this letter told a different (and probably more believable) story. Really cool

Was that letter found in the U.S.? I'm guessing it was written by a British soldier. The Truce was between German, British and Belgian soldiers. America didn't join the war till 1917.

That is legit cool. People don't understand what goes on in war unless you have witnessed it personally.
