that sounds ripe for abuse if a car owner catches it and demands removal and accuses them of scratching the paint or some other damage

I guess that could be alleged during any service visit though, with or without sticker

So many people drive around with these and the license plate frame and it blows my mind. So much free advertising.

While I agree and hate those too, they do own the vehicle.

The thing I really don't understand is when people go and get a frame from a nicer dealer and put it on their car.

Everybody knows that clapped out 350Z didn't come from Lamborghini Palm Beach

I hate any decals or plate frames, but actually think the old cord dealers in the bumper was kind of cool. Never seen one with paint fill though, they were all pretty hard to see of the ones I have noticed

It's your car and you can do what you want. Unless they pay me for advertising it always comes off for us too.

Then how do they stay attached in Louisiana? Maybe the humidity and mosquitoes work together to keep it attached.

You should get a sticker for your business or a business of your choice, and just slap it on the service entrance door. It's one thing when they put a sticker on the vehicle they own before they sell it to you. After you have bought it, if they put a sticker on your stuff, it's seems like fair game to put a sticker on their stuff.

No dealer markings or no deal. Always done it that way, they've never complained.

Making them take it off is more satisfying

I like telling them to take it off or include me in their monthly advertising budget. They always take it off

I just went by a dealer and they effectively told me they can’t get the car I want. Shitbirds

I remove all dealer decals the moment I bring the car home. Even the plastic ones they insist on putting on the tailgate.

I just bought and they put theirs right above the factory decal. I had to lightly heat gun the dealership decal leaving sticker residue as to not melt the factory decal. But, a little goo b gone and I good. The window sticker was just peeled. I didn't think to ask them to do it.

Does Line-X do this when they spray in a bed liner? See so many trucks with the little yellow line-x sticker on the back glass
