I hope they straighten out the issues they've had with the tracking system they use for payments. It has been buggy the past few years. I know two different people who have been sent letters that they owe a huge amount of back child support and it would be going into whatever collections or court deal they use. I know a woman who has had it happen twice. Last month they hit her with owing over 18 grand when she was current. It isn't exactly easy to get that shite fixed, either. It took a couple of weeks with both her and her ex working on it.

It’s a GD law passed by Congress and signed by the President.

Having lived through a deadbeat parent who disowned four kids with a stay at home mom who never worked outside the home, GFY.

I’m assuming this child support is court mandated.

No court is mandating what you can or can’t say on Facebook

more "small" government. Are there really THAT many dead beat dads leaving the country permanently over child support? Of course not. But it's another method of government control over the citizens.

The deadbeat parents lost that control when they broke the law by failing to pay child support. If they can afford a passport and international travel, they can afford additional payments to their children.

If you’re not paying child support, you’re not a parent.

women can choose not to be a parent via abortion,
No such thing. Once someone is pregnant, she’s already a parent. Murdering an unborn baby doesn’t alleviate this.

She can certainly alleviate herself from the care and support of that unborn baby.

FTR, I’m staunchly pro life. I am simply pointing out that at this time women legally have an “out” whereas men do not.

Furthermore, look up if a mother can place her baby for adoption without the father’s consent and look up the inverse. You will receive two very different answers.

Also look up if a father can terminate his rights- and his responsibilities.

The fact is, women get every opportunity and choice all along the way to decide if they are “ready” to be a parent. Men get only one.

Yes, men should be more careful- most certainly. The burden of folly, however, is not equally nor fairly distributed.

I'm cool with wage garnishment

TX (at least Fort Bend County) forces it. We *can* pay through the portal, but it's essential for the state AG to hold onto the money for 9 days after they take it from me in order to pay the ex. They makin bank off of that interest on money that isn't theirs.

TX AG also opens an account on your credit immediately when it goes into effect.

Have you had a family member destroyed by the family courts?

I know someone who's employee couldn't do work overseas for him bc of this reason. Crazy bc it was a small amount. There is something in place already bc this happened about 6 years ago. I'm glad they are getting dead beats to pay up.

No.

I do have a brother that married a woman and he raised her young son as his own. Five or six years later they divorced and she never let him see the kid again. She went back to the baby daddy. It broke my brother’s heart but what could he do?

It’s just always bothered me that men only get to play whatever role a woman sets out for them. I hate that a woman can destroy a man’s child. I hate my body my choice. I hate each and every way that feminism destroys families.

They should try this instead: Let the deadbeat leave the country, but don’t let them back in the US until they pay their debts.

It may not work, but it would make for a fun reality show. “This week, we’ll feature Bob, who fell $10,000 behind on child support but managed to take his new Ukrainian girlfriend on a Caribbean cruise. Little does he know that he’ll be picking bananas in Honduras for the next several years to earn enough to make it home.”

I'll try and be delicate here; your brother took a chance to be the good man, did the right thing, and got his heart ripped out. So what is not to turn him bitter? It's never the next woman's fault, of course, but if they actually understood what the implications of feminism are, they may be a bit less cavalier with men's rights.

And what lesson does this teach the boy, which he's going to take out on every woman he meets for decades? Girls turn this into anxiety farming, boys turn this into anger towards women, usually. But the bad parent doesn't care, they have a point to prove.

Disappointing.
