You’re not getting golf in if twilight starts at 5 PM right now anyway… We play golf till 630 last evening and barely made it.

DST should be made permanent. I hate the sun setting before I leave work.

No real need to go to DST. In mid September it started getting dark earlier and earlier…it’s now getting dark at 6:15.

Georgia is going to solve this problem for ourselves.
If Congress doesnt make daylight savings permanent, state legislature can change to central time zone.
Bad news, you can't.
You can ask the Sec of Transportation to change, but a state legislature can't switch times zones.

As much as we all hate it, it's probably the best to just keep the changing.
Under permanent standard time, the summer sunrise in Boston would be before 4:30 for a period.
Under permanent daylight saving time, the winter sunrise in Detroit would be around 9:00 around the first day of winter.

Driving home in dark at 515 is much better
Yes. That is much, much, much better than changing clocks twice a year.

It is a sign of *ahem* "modern" times that I originally read that as meaning you are a trans woman now.

The number of people that don't understand DST is mind bottling.
