What I've learned in this thread is that people feel really strongly about DST, one way or the other.

I like it to get dark around 7-7:30pm. Just seems proper.

I'm fine with that in the summer, but under no circumstances should it ever be daylight at 9 pm, unless you're near one of the poles.
