Yes. From what I can remember, the Netflix show is pretty accurate.

Somewhat but you know documentaries always have a bias. It's probably like The Crown, fact and fiction intertwined.

Have not seen the movie on Netflix but yea it was bad. Watch Waco Rules of Engagement on Amazon Prime.

Its got a good amount of accurate material in it, they based a lot of it on books from the survivors and so on. But obviously a lot is dramatized.

We just watched the Netflix Manhunt series on Richard Jewell/Eric Rudolph and is over the top ridiculously inaccurate and overly dramatized.

Not sure if it’s accurate but it definitely tried to get sympathy for Koresh from the viewers. Even if the ATF screwed up, it doesn’t excuse the fact that the guy was an abuser and a pedophile.

It was dramatized but on par with chernobyl imo.

Killing 26 kids is a little more than a screw up.

I had forgotten that the real Janet Reno showed up one time.

For the most part, yep but obviously some extra drama added for TV. With that being said the whole thing was a cluster frick.

It doesn't take much to make the ATF (shite be upon them) look bad.

If the Waco miniseries on Netflix disturbed you, the real story is far, far worse. Watch Waco: Rules of Engagement on Prime Video.

ETA: Youtube Link Waco: Rules of Engagement Fair warning, it is absolutely a gut-punch. It will forever change your view of the government. Turn your phone off, sit down, and pay attention for two hours.

Wasn’t around for the real thing, but from what I’ve watched in documentaries, it seemed pretty spot on. The whole thing seems to have been bungled from the get-go by a bunch of Johnny badasses. Very sad situation from top to bottom.

Should all fall on Janet Reno’s head, and that of her boss.

Sad part today is congress is probably worse than David Koresh was.

They just hide it better while having the same groups that attacked David Koresh cover it up.

Bringing a tank to try to get people out of a house kinda does that.

Taylor Kitsch did an excellent job in this show.

It shows Koresh being accused of marriage to someone underage and that he was not innocent. The steps taken to assassinate him and his group are incomprehensible.

This should have led to a call to arms.

ATF should be the name of a convenience store, not a government agency.
