He is an advocate for the removal of what many perceive is one of our more inherent rights and has been plastered all over the mainstream media in order to promote that agenda.
The fallout was inevitable and I don't see it as creepy when Hogg put himself out there to be the focal point of a media agenda against the ownership of firearms.

The leftists fell in love with this douche because of these very responses. They trotted him out every 2 seconds to help them push their agenda, then as soon as someone pushed back, they pulled the inevitable "he's only a kid" bullshite. Now the new trend is "y'all are so obsessed with this kid".
Only in 2018 would a group look to a kid to be the leader of a movement who's goal it is to take people's rights away in the name of moral righteousness.

So no one should put up any resistance to these people? Yes, the gun grabbing hysteria of the Obama administration was over the top, but had he gone unopposed, there would have been at least some moderate gun control measures implemented.
It's been shown time and time again that these people don't stop even if they're given what they demand. Hell, even one of the speakers at the anti-gun DC march proudly proclaimed that if they were given an inch, they would take a mile. This is why my line in the sand is "assault rifles". I refuse to budge because it's the tipping point.
