I don’t care. Just post pics of her in ten years. That’s all I ask.

It's too late after they're already born.

Need to look fashionable in the womb. In uterus ear piercing.

What’s the right age? Why do I care? I’m still reluctant about her getting them done at 7.

Made mine wait untill they were 12 so they could take care of them, 7 year olds can be a bit rough and dont pay attention increasing the chance of infection or even worse a tear out. JMHO

Being honest. It's a woman thing. I'm not exactly sure of her age, but I've seen it done very very early.
Maybe she was 5.

My daughter was older and she still was not mature enough to take care of them so they grew shut.
It's okay at 7 as long as she only wears studs.

Please wait until the child’s ear is large enough for the piercing to be centered. My wife insisted on having it done when my daughter was a baby. The girl pierced it way to low on the earlobe. We ended up taking them out so it will heal over and hopefully get them redone when she is older.

My mom wouldn't let me have mine pierced until I was 13 (and in the doctor's office!), but that was way back in the day. My sister didn't wait and did hers at a slumber party with a cube of ice and a needle. I was far too chicken for that.

If they're old enough to ask for it, they're old enough to do it.

Also, 100% don't get it done at Wal-Mart or the mall. Go to a well-reviewed tattoo/piercing parlor, somewhere with professionals who you know are cleaning their instruments correctly, not some middle-aged no account making $8/hr that's covering a lunch break in the jewelry department.

I came to post this exact thing.

People who get their little kids ears pierced are so trashy. I took my daughter to my tattoo guy when she was 16. He called me a little bitch because I cried almost as much as she did!

My oldest was six when she first started asking for them. I held her off a couple months so she wasn’t getting them during the summer to help avoid infection from pool water. Plus, it let me see if she really, reallly wanted them.

She got them in December and loves them. I only let her wear studs.

He said 7 years of age...not 7 months of age.

So not a trashy move

Still trashy imo

Got my daughters done at 7 and she did not take care of them at all. They got infected a couple times and we had to force a new earring through twice because the hole almost closed up. Proceed at your own risk.

At lease she is old enough to want her ears pierced. I did this with my second daughter, waited until she bugged me about it. My oldest daughter had her ears pierced as an infant and after thinking about it, I decided not to do the same with my second daughter.
