We went religiously for a few years and one of my friends actually met his wife there. We got into doing acid a pretty good bit and as often as we could, one night I took several hits and had an extremely bad trip that lasted a while. My mind didn't seem right for weeks so I decided that wasn't the way I wanted things to go in my life. I left that scene and decided to move to Los Angeles and help homeless people get clean and get off of the streets. That was a great time in my life. My other two friends stayed in the drug scene, one had a heart attack and the other one committed suicide. Both of my friends died way too young.

Has pills always been a thing that guys did? In high school, late 90s I remember girls taking pills and such. We always thought of it as girly if a guy was into pills. We just drank alcohol and smoked dope. I'm not speaking about rapey pills, just "feel good" pills. Or "my happy pills" as girls would say.

I went in there one time with friends around 10 years ago. When I noticed that literally everyone else was blitzed out of their mind and just drinking water, things weren't right. This was not my scene. My group stayed and I got a taxi home.

I've always thought the same thing because most of us have no clue how to go about drugging someone. I imagine that it does happen but seems that it would be rare. Also, what would be the point of dropping something into a random girl's drink at a bar or party?
Those of us who survived the experience of self-medicating with drugs and alcohol have greater appreciation for the power of these substances. I roofied myself many times with alcohol. There are a ton of adults older than 30 who still haven't learned where their personal boundaries lie when drinking or whatever.

When I was younger in Monroe I had a girl give me Rohypnol(sp) and I took it, really fricked me up. Had a wild night and can't remembered much of what happened until about 3am. I could definitely see how these could work. But I haven't seen or heard of them since then. This was probably 98 or 99ish.

I know for one of our fraternity Halloween parties, there were girls apparently making actual claims that we drugged the "jungle juice" because they passed out and couldn't remember anything. Thing is, pretty much every single person was drinking from the same batch, so there would have been a house full of passed out people. That's when I realized girls lie because they know they can.
Not saying it doesn't legitimately happen, but the lies are more frequent than the real cases.

I'm guessing you are talking about ecstasy. The good E pills from the early 2000s are by far the greatest drugs I've ever done. Tweeties, Dolphins, gators, hq's, etc.

I was drugged at a bar in downtown Mobile. They were trying to rob me. It wasn't a date rape drug, though. I took the shot and almost immediately I felt like someone pulled a curtain over my eyes. I could still hear, though. I started throwing punches but luckily two of my friends who were downstairs at the time came up and saw what was going on. They got me out of there.
