They’re expensive, but it’s worth it. Very high quality socks and they’re guaranteed for a lifetime as long as you don’t lose them.

They’re made of good Merino wool material, and so they’re comfortable. They also don’t make your feet stink.

Expensive socks are a good investment

I recently spent quite a bit on socks and am glad I did. Different brand but worth it.

Not a knock. Merino is pretty shite for a durable fabric. Feels so nice though.

At that price you tear the dryer apart.

No "no show", no want.

I prefer Smartwool, but my wife prefers Darn Tough. Both of them make great socks, especially the ones designed for specific activities.

I’ve been wearing darn tough socks for probably 10 years and they do start to thin out significantly after a few years for sure. Never sent any back or anything like that but they’re real good for a few years.

Wearing some still right now.

All I wear.
The warranty makes them worth the price.

Warranty doesn’t cover lost socks. This is one of the primary reasons I do my own laundry separately from my family of five.

Nice. I don’t really know what kind of socks they make for women, but I’m sure they’re good.

I ran into TJ Maxx a couple of weeks ago to see if they had any early fleece or other quarter zips out for a good deal. They did. But the deal of the day was walking back through the sock aisle and staring at me were bunches of 4 packs of Columbia 100% all wool crew socks. Incredibly soft and hearty. 4 pack for $8.99. Duh, I'll take 2. Great quality, semi-thick and soft as hell. ***** stars.

Bought some last year for an elk hunt in Wyoming. Wore them one time (in broken in Danner boots). In less than an hour, the heels were worn out in both socks. Sent them back and they gave me another pair per their policy. Overall, they're nothing special.

Merino wool is the tits. I have a few quarter zips from Smart Wool and I wear them about every day in fall/winter.

I know you don’t care and I get that but there is no way you can convince me that that really happened. Zero chance there was a defect in both socks that would account for that. It is much more likely you forgot to put your boots on if your socks wore out in an hour.
