If any of y'all subscribers aren't already aware, YouTube Music is also really great.

I do this as well… nothing like getting a buzz and watching old music videos. I imagine it’s how MTV was like in the early 80s

You tube is pretty much all I watch. I’ve been watching all the pawn stars episodes lately. I’ve also watched college sports streams on it. I can put up with the commercials because it’s free.

EST money I spend each month. $25 for a family subscription. My son uses it all day as do I.

YouTube is awful. 10 minutes of ads for a 3 minute DIY home project video.

PSA:

Duck Duck Go browser on tablet, No App, YouTube Site direct....one 15 second ad at the beginning and that's all. I see no ads after the first for that video.

One caveat is I do not sign in. Most useful for DIY or restoration videos that almost require skipping around. DDG is free.

On my iPhone/iPad I use an app called Video Lite. $1.99 for 3 months, no ads, background play, everything premium offers.

This. It’s like paying for Netflix. But worth it. You can learn to change a tire or a transmission. Whatever you’re willing to try.

Through the magic of YT, I discovered the beauty of old radio shows from the 40s & 50s. I also love bodycam vids.

Not to mention a deep breakdowns of the War in the Pacific. I got so tired of Hitler this, Hitler that.

As previously stated, the premium subscription is well worth it.

I just watched an Alan Hunter interview of .38 Special on YouTube. Pretty funny story about Jerry Riggs. He was a mail carrier for 24 years and Don Barnes called him, asking him to join the band.
The Post Office had a retirement party for Jerry, and they were asking him what he was going to do, play a lot of golf?
Jerry told them he thought he would join a rock band and go on tour, and his coworkers were like…sure buddy.

For the past... I guess two months, I have watched more youtube than ever before. I have been watching a lot of arrest videos. This one was posted today, a woman was caught for faking being a nurse for over two years.

That alone is more entertaining than most of the shite on tv.

YouTube is one of the greatest inventions in human history. The amount of knowledge and collaboration on YouTube is insane.

I don’t love Google controlling it. Allowing companies to buy up everything including competitors while they struggled to learn how to profit off the internet is long over. Some of those allowed mergers or acquisitions need to be reversed.

Duck Duck Go has it's own player for YouTube.

It blocks all the ads!
