I don't mean comparable in a derogatory sense. I'm just saying the two groups are positioned differently.

How can people say Atlanta is the best out of Nashville and Charlotte?

It's a very distant third

We get it, you're on the warpath for Atlanta

Also, you live in Louisiana, or did

Buckhead isn't even close to the most popular/preferred part of Atlanta

False. Buckhead is a small part of Atlanta. Midtown is the trendy area now, though Buckhead is still booming. VaHi, L5P, West Midtown, Grant Park, Cabbagetown and a plethora of other areas are absolutely growing in a good way.

That makes sense.

Obviously Houston and Dallas are in a different league size wise than a Nashville or Charlotte.

Texas has Southwest Airlines and for decades folks have been in the habit of flying safely and with very reasonable fares all over the state, with minimum hassle. You're at most two hours from any of the cities in Texas, and that instills a business network ease that I really miss in the southeast.

Flying around the southeast has never been easy and it's never been moderately priced.

Saints I guess, plus rivalry from a time when New Orleans and Atlanta were more comparable as cities.

You mean the same demographics that exist throughout Louisiana and into Houston as well?

Yes. That's exactly what they hate about it.

Don't think anyone acts like they are "Mecca", but the economy in those cities has exploded and they are all in the same state. Good schools, good roads, and anyone could find a home that they love in one of those cities.

Questions like the OP's are best/only resolved by BBQ comparisons.

Dallas/Houston/Austin BBQ dwarfs the other cities.

Tampa is better than all of them.

Living in a land lock city sucks.
