Those Texas cities are in one state. So when people talk about Texas, all of those cities are included.

Really depends on the industry. If you work for Exxon, I would agree, but if you work in banking at the BOA headquarters in Charlotte, I would disagree.

Give Texas credit. The infrastructure, economy, and state government are all pretty much best in the U.S.
Texas is pretty bland though. I would take a vacation in the Charlotte/Nashville area all day over TX.
