No. I feel absolutely sick for all the good, hard working people losing their businesses.

Not at all. Don't want my mom/dad to get it as they have medical issues but other than that, no. I'm almost 51 (one week from now) and in good health, non-obese.

I would give a shite if the virus was killing healthy people like the Spanish Flu. Like 99.99999% of people dying of covid are either old or have a severe health issue. It's time to open everything up 100%.

I’m scared for the business owners who are close to losing everything
I am scared for the nursing home residents left in small rooms with no one to talk to
I am scared for kids that aren’t getting a proper education
I am scared for young families that are just trying to get by & raise their kids right

And a lot of the deaths while a bit premature would have happened anyway. In most cases Covid is just stealing from the other death causes numbers. I'm not scared of death. I'm scared of not living. So until I'm not breathing, I'm going to go on and live my life. If I die, I die. It's something we'll all have to go through regardless of the cause.

Not even half as many deaths per day as heart disease

Sounds like we should have shut down everything for decades now

No one’s going to live forever. Even making it to adulthood isn’t guaranteed.

I might end up being a COVID statistic but so what - I’ll be a statistic of some sort eventually. Let’s get back to being adults.

Friend,

The way this is moving I am fearful for the loss of others. I fear not death, for I have a friend in Jesus. Only a very few people would mourn my death so there would not be the burden of loss on others for me. But I do fear the death of those who have people who love them, and for that I am concerned and hope it does not continue to worsen. This Autumn and Winter, if things do not change, will not be good for America.

Yours,
TulaneLSU

As of today there have been 3,320,991 cases. There are roughly 335,000,000 million people in the USA. As of now only .99% of the US has tested positive. That’s all positive test not counting any recoveries.

Masks, etc if anything just drag this out.

Not scared. Like someone stated. If it was the Spanish flu mortality rate, yes, I’d be very scared.

I am just getting over covid. I’m 38 and in good health. Literally was like the flu. I was actually glad to get it and be done with it.

I believe it’s being a bit over played now. In the beginning we didn’t really know what to expect so I was all for a little more precautions. Now, if you want to go out be my guest. Also, just because I don’t believe it’s that scary doesn’t mean I’m one of those assholes that won’t wear a mask.

Not yet. The media is working on getting me scared, though. Maybe they'll succeed one of these days.

I love how everyone cares about each other’s well being all of a sudden.

Oh, and how everyone is doing medical research, publishing, and doing peer review.
