My wife (no pics) is a prime example of this. When we started getting serious in the relationship she would tell me all these stories about her dad and what a POS he is. She hadnt had much contact with him for 6 or 7 years when we met, other than short visits and phone calls. Well, he invited us over for Thanksgiving one year and I finally got to meet him and was expecting a shite show. It was anything but. So I told my wife something is not adding up and convinced her to just sit down with him and lay it all out. So she did and he just laughed when she was done and explained that everything shed been told was an outright lie and gives his account of specific instances that my wife had been hurt over
shite like he was supposed to come pick her up and not show up. Well, her mom would I te too ally take her to the wrong place and act like he just didn't show up.
Fast forward 2 years later and it comes out my wife's mom has borderline personality disorder and the picture becomes VERY clear. She's fricking insane.

I already see the shite my ex is pulling with my son. I hear the comments she makes to him trying to manipulate him into thinking I'm not a good parent. Who knows the lies she's going to tell him about why we aren't together in order to turn him against me.
I have no idea what's been going on with this guy the last 18 years or why he and his wife split up, but I can easily see years of frustration getting the better of him.
Now maybe he was an abusive a-hole, but I don't know that to be true.

I can't believe people in here are trying to justify dumping 80,000 pennies on your ex's lawn, in front of your children. Make the last payment and head to the bar. Call in sick tomorrow, whatever. Not sure many are justifying it, just saying we understand wanting to do it. He shouldn't have done it, but she's probably put him through a world of shite so I'm not hating on the guy.

A lot of us have felt like this dude.
And his next level petty is comical but it also offers a real, raw glimpse into the problems with child support structures and precedents of family law in general
Like I alluded to earlier, hundreds of ex wives die each year at the hands of their ex husband. So yes, I defend what he did b/c it could have been a helluva lot worse.
And people wonder what he got out of pulling this shite? Catharsis instead of prison. Nuff Said.

Oh and I showed this news story and video to my 18 yr old daughter and 16 yr old son.
They cracked up laughing and said "why in the world did they give the money away? That's just stupid." They are fairly normal and smart kids(not like their dad).
So it makes you wonder what teenager would throw away $800? They don't think like that.

I will finally be done with this bullshite in October. I'm not going to make my final payment in pennies. But there isn't a day that goes by that I don't wish that something terrible would happen to her bitch of a mother.
I hope that everyone that can't empathize with what this guy has probably been through with the mom gets to get their own taste of how court systems handle these situations.
