Dad built a boat shed out of pvc pipe, rope, and a tarp

It's working good so far, what do you guys think? How long do yall think it will hold up for ?

He'll have to replace the tarp every year probably

ETA:
Is it not anchored other than tied to the dock? Like a ground anchor?

That mercury is enough anchor for the tarp and the boat.
