I've wanted to go do that on the grill in some steakhouses. Hate when they overcook shite.
There used to be a steakhouse in Columbia in the 90s where you could pick and then cook your own steak.

For those wondering, If this would have happened at 99% of other Waffle Houses in Alabama (any other than HWY 280) you would be hearing about this on world star and it would be a much different outcome.

I did this to help out at a Bank that I'm a customer of and I didn't get any kind words whatsoever.

Play your cards right, and next time, they might ask you to help out at the prison afterwards...

You think they might let me help out at the Women's Prison?

Nah, baw. They gonna have you on shower duty with Bubba. Not often the jailbirds get some Champagne.

Yes, I'll 3rd that I tip between 50 and 100% on my waffle house tabs.

I stopped at a Waffle House a few years ago in northern Kentucky about 3am driving home from a trip. It was fairly crowded, and the "cook" looked to be like an 18-19 year old kid, but he was working that grill area like a work of art.
It was fun to watch, and I tipped him when I left

My biggest tip % is always Waffle House and it’s not even close. And I rarely tip less than 20%.

Awesome. Possibly the best OT story ever.

Last time I went to one my bill was 9 dollars and I tipped 5. Their employees are usually nice and do a good job even though they’re always pretty rough looking
