Most treasure hunters have an investor and they get paid back as they find artifacts. These guys haven’t found much of anything

I think it's an old forgotten boatyard. I think they had some type of drydock there in the part that they called the swamp.

They brothers invest what they make from the show into the dig,not just salary but also as producers... so basically, while being set for life, its essentially free

Sorry, I love this show. It's one of my guilty pleasures.
I really don't know what to make of the whole place. I mean I at first think there's no way any of these theories happened. But yet they keep finding the craziest stuff in unexplainable places.
Idk it's fascinating to me so hate all you want idgaf.

I’m with you. I think they get a lot of kooks who have convinced themselves of one kook theory or another. I would think that with the money spent, they could have dug a damn big hole, as deep as they needed, to find out what’s what. But I still enjoy the show.

I watch, not so much for the reveal of any treasure but just some of the artifacts are cool and the history too.
They have to get clearance from the Canadian govt for any excavation or basically anything the do.

Like June bugs to a porch light we watch year after year not really caring what they find we just find the hunt interesting and cringe that with every bit they have to call the whole team over to see. Just jam that stuff in a pocket and keep lookin dang it ya burnin day light

Grandpa told me that his grandparents hid silver and gold in a cave in a cut bank in the creek on the back of his farm during the civil war, and nobody ever found it.
