Today was gridlock on the Pontchartrain expressway all because they were painting the concrete guardrails on the Mississippi River Bridge. Who in the hell coming to town for the Super Bowl is going to the West Bank, and why would they even care?

I thought they were moving the homeless 15-20 blocks up the street, and taking all of the criminals, running them up 55, gutting them, and dumping them over in the Maurepas swamp?

Don't they usually have a golf tournament? I would think that would be at the TPC on the wank

Oh no. Super Bowls, Final Fours, Sugar Bowls and major conventions are going to stop coming because Meajeaux from some Louisiana town thinks New Orleans sucks. It’s amazing.

Were you able to establish contact with it.

That would be a step in the correct direction

Last time I drove down Poydras, the suspension in my truck took a beating. I’m assuming they’ll fix that for the Superbowl, then let the street deteriorate for years aga

They actually did repave Poydras this year

Your "beloved city" is a streaming pile of shite and has been since before you were born.

Lower garden district for 5 years

Near mag and Louisiana for 3

Lakeview on Jewel st for 2

That stretch of mag btw Louisiana and Washington had a makeover recently.

Some parts of midcity as well. As a whole, the city is suffering. We left, bought a farm, and couldn’t be happier. Good luck with Latoya.

Don’t tell me the city is doing better than 2008-2018. It went down in 2018 and we left.

They moved all of the homeless of the streets. That was huge. Needs to remain like that for the future.

It’s doing just fine

Enjoy your farm

I’ll enjoy stepping out onto St Charles every morning as the streetcar rumbles by and moms and their strollers jog by. I enjoy the beauty and architecture and how everything in the city houses and businesses are jumbled together. Maybe I’ll stop for a fresh croissant and coffee before I head in to work.

Different strokes.
