I'm not bringing a suit for a freaking cruise

I'd worry more about diarrhea on a cruise ship

bottom line....go and have a blast. those boats are plenty big enough to mind your business (if that is what you want) and have your R and R time.
Regarding all of the "trashy" claims, many are accurate. What i have done in the past is only go on cruises that have 21 and older pools, or some area like this. otherwise you very well may wind up some random high school senior trip with you.

Go on the cruise. Have fun. Get drunk. Enjoy yourself.
Pretty sure there is a difference between living in fear and simply making smart decisions.
I would not risk going on any cruises at this point. Look what is going on with the Princess cruise. That must be an absolute nightmare. They can't even leave their rooms for days? Sheesh.
It's simply not worth it at this point in time, but to each their own.

Royal Caribbean has announced they are allowing cancellations within 48 hours of departure with the option to reschedule within 18 months

Are you old? Like late 60s+? If not, frick the coronavirus, you will be good.

I have one booked next month. Probably going to cancel.
This came out tonight from the state dept.
Passengers on Cruise Ships
U.S. citizens, particularly travelers with underlying health conditions, should not travel by cruise ship. CDC notes increased risk of infection of COVID-19 in a cruise ship environment. In order to curb the spread of COVID-19, many countries have implemented strict screening procedures that have denied port entry rights to ships and prevented passengers from disembarking. In some cases, local authorities have permitted disembarkation but subjected passengers to local quarantine procedures. While the U.S. government has evacuated some cruise ship passengers in recent weeks, repatriation flights should not be relied upon as an option for U.S. citizens under the potential risk of quarantine by local authorities.
This is a fluid situation. CDC notes that older adults and travelers with underlying health issues should avoid situations that put them at increased risk for more severe disease. This entails avoiding crowded places, avoiding non-essential travel such as long plane trips, and especially avoiding embarking on cruise ships. Passengers with plans to travel by cruise ship should contact their cruise line companies directly for further information and continue to monitor the Travel.state.gov website and see the latest information from the CDC: LINK

I think the whole coronavirus scare is the biggest bs I’ve ever seen in my life and people canceling plans and what not is beyond absurd. That said, I’m not getting on a cruise ship right now, because if somehow I got quarantined on a boat with a million people for two weeks I would be begging for the coronavirus to come and devour my lungs and all other organs as quickly as possible to put me out of my misery

This is me. Not afraid of the cruise week, but if they have an outbreak and quarantine you to your room for 2+ weeks where you can't leave your room, I would have to abandon ship.

No, Baw. You're not. Orlando is landlocked.

I’m on NCL mid May out of Seattle to Alaska. Have been informed of the cruise credit for 2 years. But I’m holding out until last minute to cancel. I also want my fuking money back. Fuk having 10K tied up for 2 years.

Your chances of getting the herp are a whole lot greater than coronavirus baw.

I used to want to go on a cruise, but my actual experience aboard the M/V Otto Candies did not live up to my hopes and dreams.
