This is why I prefer to have a Male Tabby Cat. I don’t have to go to dog parks and deal with people. He knocks on the door, goes outside and shits. Then he comes back inside. It’s really easy.

I would love to be able to take my dog to a dog park and see him happily romping with other dogs. But that's just a fantasy, because in real life, if I am walking him on a leash and some other dog runs up and barks, he goes berserk and acts like he's gonna finish what the other dog started.

Some herding dogs are bred to quickly recover from a kick or strike from a cow or a sheep. If you strike them with a leash, it triggers that reaction. One of the possible results would be the dog ferociously going after the person striking them.
My Aussie would have turned on that woman had she struck my dog with the leash. My lawn guy always got along with her, but for some reason he got nervous one day and decided to dust her with air from the leaf blower. He had to call me to "rescue" him from the bed of his truck as my dog had him surrounded LOL.

No, people with houses in big cities take them to the park also to socialize with other dogs. She's just uptight and nuts. I hope you said something to her.

Don't strike kids or animals that aren't yours, and even then, there aren't a lot of good reasons to strike them anyway.

I thought maybe with the start of this story that you may have been at the dog park by my house yesterday.
Lady comes in with a big dog. He was super friendly and ready to play with the other dogs but this medium sized dog immediately jumps on her dog and wanted to fight.
She starts yelling at the owner to get her damn dog off of hers. He waits a good minute or so to get his dog and holds it to calm it down.
The lady stomps over to a bench and throws her purse down. Stupid other dog releases his dog and it of course is ready to fight again and the same scene plays out. She grabs her shite and cusses the other guy out and leaves.
