Crazy morning at dog park

Women walks into dog park with her dog being super energetic, of course every other dog reacts, going nutz. Her dog is fine, just running around, being a dog.
When other dogs approach her, she proceeds to start whipping them with her leash (metal end) and telling everyone to grab their dogs.
Luckily my dog stayed 5ft away and didnt react (95Lb great pryrenees) but holy shite, if she would have hit my dog, I would be in jail right now.
All of this went down in 5mins.
Wtf is wrong with people.

Nope, 45ish, white, guessing 105lbs, ray bans and crazy. No time to snap photo when shite was going down. If I see her again, no doubt.

This story reminded me of why I always carry a firearm when I backpack. It’s not because of the animals I may encounter, it’s because of the people.

A while back at the Pelican park dog park some large goth looking freak lady was trying to tell us not to throw the tennis balls (they’re freely scattered all over for that purpose) because all the dogs are fighting over them. Gave her a flat look and sent her elsewhere. Watching a few minutes later, it was HER shite garbage dog, the only one, causing trouble with the balls being thrown. So of course she felt the need to control the whole dog park rather than her own dog.

I don’t know how big a dog park you have, but I told my wife, if she went alone and wasn’t comfortable, to stand on the other side of the fence while the dog runs and plays.

There aren’t any dog parks near me, but I wouldn’t bring my dogs to one for this reason. They would start shite with other dogs because they’re spoiled little dickheads

TBH I see stupid shtt like that when bringing Nymeria to dog parks. Ppl don't realize dogs communicate by body language. They do shtt that looks aggressive to us but it is just them setting the hierarchy. When dogs really start fighting, you will know.
