My company had one of those where they give you two drink tickets.

Had an ex who invited me to her company party like that. It was on the west coast for Enterprise holdings. Basically the people who push the papers for making sure there are cars to rent and accounting and such.

Half the people there basically brought a flask and hid it in their coat or purse. The other one i went to with her was open bar (mostly beer and wine). And these were more senior people. Up in Walnut Creek, Cali. First time seeing how drunk upper management got

My current companies parties are pretty lame. We all just go to a steakhouse for dinner, everyone drinks 1 or 2 glasses of wine and we small talk for 2 hours then leave

This is what I expect my company party is going to be this year. It's what we do every year, but afterwards we go out to a bar or club on the company's dime, which is where the fun happens. We're doing the party next Monday instead of tomorrow because the Principals have a charity golf event, so it will probably be tame. Still looking forward to the bone in filet at Joes.

We had a work Christmas party, open bar, and nothing crazy happened. We went to a bar downtown after (about 1/3 of us) and one of the guys on my team got into a 1v2 over something silly. Nothing crazy just a few punches, but it was pretty hilarious being semi-sober watching three drunken idiots try to fight.

I used to work for a really small, jacked up company and there was tons of shite going on all the time, I could write a book on my experiences there.

One Christmas party, they hired a hypnotist as part of the entertainment after the meal. This was all done at a hotel, so we had part of the ballroom sealed off for us. One of the women who was hypnotized fell out of her chair and she wasn't wearing panties. She showed everyone her dried up catchers mitt.

Later, the same hypnotist said something that made one woman on stage freak the frick out and she ran out of the room screaming.

Later in the night, at the bar across the street from the hotel, a guy's plus one got in a fist fight with one of my female colleagues.

I didn't get paid much while there, but man it kept me entertained.

Yes they are. I remember my 1st one. Started pretty tame. A chugging contest started and at one point the owner asked me where’d everyone go. I looked outside and there were 1-2 smoking. Go into the men’s room and there was a coke fest going on. Girls and guys were in there going crazy. Everyone returned to the party super chatty and alert.

In college had to remove a warehouse manager from our bosses neighbors backyard as he had drunkingly wondered next door and was pissing in a potted fern on their back porch.

He got fired before Christmas.

Tiger Mike was a client of our law firm in the 70s and 80s and he was notorious for his memos like that.

For 4-5 years right out of college years I worked for a local company with probably several hundred employees. Attended one company Christmas Party, I behaved but others didn't and early next week "interesting" party photos were sent around in our department, of course on work email. Aftermath included required sexual harassment training for our department and everyone who received the emails, whether we viewed them or not. Also this was in the early 2000s, I'm not sure how bad it would be today.

Never went to another party and most of my employers since have not been big enough to have a huge party, thankfully.

Old bar I worked at took us to Top Golf on a party bus. One of the managers got plastered and was hucking plates out of the driving bay. One of my cooks got so shitfaced on the drive there he puked on the front stairs and managed to lock himself in a strangers car. Two of the waitresses made handsex in the back of the party bus on the trip back. Made it back to the bar and the lead barback pulls out a sandwich bag full of coke. Most of us ended up sleeping in the bar that night.

We were banned as a company from Top Golf locations in Houston. Company parties were held onsite from there on out.
