Coworker I didn’t really have any business relationship or had to work with got caught smoking meth in his home office on camera. The screenshots got shared around lmao. Life Hack: If someone is too productive and happy at work, it’s definitely drugs. No one is that happy to go to where I work.
If you count home as our place of employment since we’ve been working remotely the past few years, Mrs. Cotten and I sneak in some “time together” a few times a week on our lunch break. Sometimes it turns into a crazy thing...

Dude I used to work with and the receptionist were coming into the office at like 3 am a couple of times a week and fricking all over the damned place. They caught on to them after several weeks because security noted that they were regularly coming in at the same time and hours before everyone else. Usually, security didn't give a shite unless an alarm in one of the secure areas went off; people need to work more sometimes. But, it was sporadic over a period of time, so they noted it in the CEO's daily report one day.
They pulled the security camera footage from the days he entered the building (and the secretary) early and caught them fricking in the break room. They both get hauled in front of their bosses to explain and were going to be fired when they guy I worked with asked them to show him in the employee handbook where it said they couldn't do that. Believe it or not, there was NOTHING in the handbook that said that made topping off the secretary's tank at work a fireable offense.
Then they pulled the payroll records. This guy was not only entering the building (and the secretary) at 3 AM, but he was clocking in as soon as he got there.
And, that's why they fired him. They had evidence that he was charging time without working and nailed him for time theft. The secretary was NOT fired, as she was waiting until her normal time to clock in. She did resign the same day they were busted, though.
The next day, new employee handbooks were issued with some vague type of "conduct detrimental to the company" clause.

I worked in a lumber yard as a delivery driver during college.
One of the other truck drivers was building a deck on his house.
Every time he would go out on a delivery, he would go to his house and unload just a few boards that he needed.
Eventually, one of the admin girls doing an audit realized that clients were complaining that they were missing a few boards on every delivery he made.
By the time they caught him, he had about 90% of the deck built.
By boss at the time sent me and another guy over to his house to take the deck apart

18 year old deckand got drunk, picked up a chick and took a sight seeing boat out for a spin in the harbor one night at 2a. Doing donuts around buoys. When the Coast Guard pulled them over, both were naked and not afraid.

The business I worked at had about 120 employees. HR announced they were installing internet filters and could see what everyone was doing on the internet. 2 months later, during the management meeting, the went through the list of employees watching porn. Several guys were caught doing it for small amounts of time, but, the huge offender was caught doing it for hours and hours.
...she was an old woman who had been there forever.
Management laughed and sent out another email to everyone reminding them, again, that they could see everything. she stayed.

Nurse got caught fricking a cardiology fellow in a stairwell...
Said nurse was fricking the guy for a while and her husband caught on. One weekend he showed up on the unit with flowers looking for her when she told him she was scheduled to work.. It was a pretty awkward situation when we told him she wasn't scheduled to work that day, and the look on his face was pretty interesting...

I was working as a welder/pipefitter helper my first year of college one summer at a plant that was in the middle of construction. The first day I showed up everyone got called into take a drug test after they caught some guys smoking crack in a piperack. The guy I was working with less than 4 hours got fired for prescription drugs or something.

Many.
One lady sent the MSFT games pack (solitaire, etc) to Company-ALL once. This was a company with over 30,000 employees. She wasn't fired.
One executive was caught stealing with some scheme with expenses. Guy was retired military brass, long career at the company, and blew it. It was over $100k. Company didn't press charges, but fired him and made him pay it back. I wonder if he did?
We were having a meeting with a large national retailer in Arkansas, and a guy noticed police pulling up, and not just police, but SWAT. Luckily, this guy went to ask what was up and was able to get the employee inside to leave the meeting and go outside to get arrested for theft, stalking, fraud... without large retailer even knowing it. Yeah, he was fired.
One dude made the local news for spanking his monkey in a Target parking lot. Fired.
Another dude made the local news for possessing child pornography. Fired.
One dude punched his VP boss in the face and knocked him out at a company gathering at a pub. Everyone agreed with the choice to hit the guy, even their boss, but they had to fire him for it. Funny thing, this guy said earlier in the week he was likely going to punch that jackass one day. I guess he already knew.

troof, over my time we've had a lot of people caught sexing on the job and can't recall of any firings except one guy that refused to stop doing it, if it wasn't specifically spelled out in the code of conduct, then why the firing?

bingo! before pc wokeness it was very difficult to get canned by my company but lying and/or stealing werealways termination type offenses

Two guys in their fifties threw down in our inspection lab one day. They broke about $7,000 worth of equipment during their scuffle. It was one of the funniest things I've ever witnessed in person.

So he thought his camera was off and he sparked up a nice fat bowl of meth, presumably during a meeting?
I honestly don't know what we'd do about that at my job. Personally I might just ignore it (other than putting the guy in my mental "bozo / probably do not promote" file).
