Covid is not detered by masks. I am sorry you are unaware of basic science.

It deters it a little bit. I’m as anti mask as anyone. But they do present a type of barrier that lessens the amount that may come out of your mouth. May only be like 20% but it’s a little better than no mask. The mask is supposed to be done in conjunction with several other things as well.

But people have lost their minds and likely think the mask gives them complete protection.

Well… that’s like saying I am wearing this really thick jacket that may deter a bullet a little bit… (that’s the same protection you get from a cloth mask).

Maybe a shotgun burst, not a single bullet.

Theres an asian family in my neighborhood like this as well. Man, woman and a teenage boy. All wearing masks while walking outside.

To be fair, I remember Asians being big mask wearers, particularly on planes, before COVID.

We all hated and criticized mask mandates, but if someone chose to wear a mask, then it's their business...

And we can ridicule them just like we fat shame people to make them get in shape

We still have one person masked in the office...... Double masked! Some cloth thing over an N95.

It's their right to do so and look silly.

I've seen a few people at the gym running on a treadmill wearing a mask.

That can't be healthy.

There is an Asian lady that lives in my brother's neighborhood that wore a mask walking for years before Covid was a thing. I assume she still is.

At a southern plate lunch restaurant... in the drive thru.

probably a 250lb woman in her car. Pulls mask down briefly to tell her name to the person at the window, then quickly pulls it back up.

No doubt picking up her 2000 calorie lunch of chicken fried steak, taters, cobbler, etc.
