My buddy is a VP at spectrum. He said this deal was done mostly because of the Cox enterprise business. They own the hospitality vertical and have the major contracts with Hilton and Marriott.

Spectrum will still be the face of the company

I have ATT Internet Air. It's 47 a month. Works great and coupled with an antennae or Prime TV I don't miss cable at all.

I've had AT&T Fiber for almost 2 years. I have had ZERO problems.

Complete opposite experience here. When its working its fine. Spectrum has constant throttle downs during the day where I am

Been in telecom 20 years

AT&T fiber or any true fiber vs a copper line(cable) isn’t even in the same ballpark

It’s comparing a Lambo to a Chevy

We are testing 10 gig in markets and it will soon be mainstream. 5 gig will be the new 1 gig within 18 months based on price decreases

I was looking at my bill today for what I pay for cable and internet and it’s still cheaper than when I had Cox which was back in 2014.

I have no issues with Spectrum. ATT is dog shite and has been for about 15 years.

I was Phone, Uverse and internet. Customer service got so bad I couldn't take it anymore. Maybe it has gotten better since covid. But from 2012-2020 it was a miserable product.

Uverse has been gone for a long time.

Everything is 100% fiber now directly to the wall. I work with all companies and it’s currently the best.

May have to change internet providers soon. AT&T best option now?

I've never had an issue with AT&Ts fiber internet itself. But I also have AT&T Uverse, or whatever they call their cable television now. And there isn't a month that goes by that I'm not on the phone with their Indian (dot not feather) customer service bitching about my bill. Half the time I can't understand a word these motherfrickers are saying to me, and I doubt they can understand me.

Sorry today is these are the last days to joke about dealing with your Cox out.

Now we just have to start joking about Spectrum being the Rectum of Internet Service providers.

All I have is REV Fiber at home. The official Fiber provider of LSU Athletics.

I'm getting close to making the jump. I'm hoping that v3 launches will bring down prices.

They just had a $10 increase to $130 a month. It’s just a far superior product to anything that you’re gonna pay 50-70 dollars a month for. And I understand the bundle deals with spectrum and at&t, I’m just not paying for an inferior service with something like internet.

For your sake, I sure hope not. AT&T has consistently been the worst company I have had to deal with as an adult. Just shitty all the way around.

Spectrum is almost as bad as AT&T in terms to constant sneaky BS to continually increase your bill.

AT&T is still king of the "frustrate them until they give up and just pay the bill" customer service labyrinth.

We had Spectrum at 4 places in Mandeville and Madisonville. They sucked every step of the way.

We finally had enough and switched to T-Mobile home internet. Zero issues for more than two years.
