“We’re not out of the woods yet...we need to keep these mitigation measures in place to ensure our numbers don’t rise again. Wear a mask. Socially distance.”

last I tracked it was down to 3048 Active Cases on 3/23.

It was 1100 at the last date they provided an update.

Probably 600-700 now.

Of it or with it? They had no other medical conditions?

And I have had zero acquaintances or family members die from it.

It's been vastly overblown since the start.

Yes. These numbers have been consistently going down the last several weeks. Somehow the media never alerts us of the good news.

Out of 4 million. Think about that. 1,100 out of 4 million. .025% of the population has it yet we still have restrictions on occupancy and public gatherings plus the stupid mask mandate.

I had a pt last week whose husband died of covid.

Not how you think though...

He was scheduled to have an angioplasty/stenting of his heart. On his pre-op testing he was covid positive, completely asymptomatic.

He had to delay the procedure 2 weeks. He died of a heart attack 3 days before the new procedure date.

And it will be duly noted as a “COVID-related death”.

Gotta keep those numbers pumped.

Introverts and anxious people dont want masks to ever end. They dont want to look at people or come close to them. And that's 90% of Democrats and 35% of Republicans. Masks forever.

Seriously how did we allow these people to take over our country so easily?

Fear mongers have already said the next wave is coming, and it attacks children as well as adults with the same vengeance.

Of course they are making most of their bullshite up.

What will the Sloth use during his news conference, and the Easter holiday weekend, massive surge of cases?

When did we become a nation that celebrates “introverts” so damn much? And I put introverts in quotes because these people are not introverts. An introvert isn’t someone who fears interacting with other people or society on general, an introvert just doesn’t need to be the center of attention or share much about themselves and is comfortable doing so.

We don’t have introverts, we have socially crippled losers that were never forced to do anything uncomfortable and now it has turned into a paralyzing sense of dread to do the most basic of human interactions.

Mutations, generally speaking, usually weaken a virus. Of course, they won’t tell you that.

They also tell you exactly the country these strains come from. It’s very interesting.

I basically did my whole thesis as to why. I found significant results that overuse of social media lead to increased symptoms of social anxiety. Basically, more and more of the population has been able to interact without interacting, and it's fricking us up tremendously.

I left our TV the other night and the news came on. I walked by it to see the headline on a story they were covering titled "Seafood Sales on Rise Despite Covid"

Or you know, they simply could have used an alternate headline of "Predominantly Catholic Community Still Eats on Good Friday"
