If he’s the south bend shovel slayer then why don’t the cops just arrest him?

Because your insurance company requires it otherwise if someone slips and falls you no longer have coverage.

Not enough evidence to convict.

I shoveled my drive way. That slush turns to ice. Not dealing with that shite over the next 3 days.

Are you upset that he didn’t come over and play with your kids so you had to?

I drove all over in the powder today. Just had to keep under 20. Didn't slip one time. Had the diffs locked and kept it in 4 hi.
Just keep to the track made by other cars. But even when trail blazing it wasn't bad just slow m a normal 15 minute druve took 50 minutes with no traffic.

Tomorrow will be much worse for ice.

I had my shovel on point today! Made a big pile of snow from the driveway for the snowman . Much easier than getting it from the yard!

My dad attached a bar to the back of the tractor and created a kind of poor man's snow plow. Plowed the driveway and then went around to a few other houses with elderly people and plowed their driveways too. If an ambulance was needed, a clear driveway could mean the difference between life and death

shite, I might go do mine today along with getting snow off my roof that I can reach with a ladder. Why? Because I already have cabin fever one day sitting at home doing nothing productive. No kids at home anymore for me to entertain.

Because he's probably from the north or lives there before. It's what you do. I shoveled the sidewalks in front of our building yesterday and people walking were thanking me and asking why I was doing it. I explained it is the law where I live most of the year that after a snow event you have so many hours to provide a walkable sidewalk on your property.

Now, there aren't snow shovels here, so I bought a big plastic shovel which did the trick since it was the light fluffy snow.

No one else around here did it, so now the sidewalk in front of their house is ice where people have already walked. The sidewalk in front of their houses are like 15 feet. It would have taken maybe 10 minutes with the right tools.

The snow won't really start melting until Thursday and then it will take time.

When we get snow/ice, the streets melt first because they get sun and traffic. Our driveway can stay frozen under the shade of an oak tree for a day or two longer. Maybe he was trying to get ahead of a similar situation so that he can get out when the streets do become passable.

Two nurse neighbors had to get to the hospital in snowmageddon. They could handle the streets, but their own sloped and frozen driveway was a big problem. We pitched in and shoveled it for them.

In the home I used to live in, I always shoveled. Actual reason was because I had a slight inclined drive. First year I lived in the house, we got a pretty decent snow up here. Left house to go to office. Came home that evening. Driving on the snow, packed down the snow and I believe it turned to ice that night. I woke up the next morning to walk out and warm the truck, and my truck had slid halfway into the street during the night. This was a result of parking on compacted snow which then turned to ice that night.

Do they still sell those propane weed burning torches?

One of those might be great.

Because if some idiot decides to walk on your sidewalks and slips and injures themselves and you didn’t do what you could to prevent it (like shoveling) then you may be held responsible.
